Is this a for-profit, or not-for-profit initiative?
DoItFor.Achievement (DIFA) is a not-for-profit organization committed to the growth of the professional interior design industry. All profits generated from are redirected to DIFA to fund educational programs for interior designers. To further strengthen our cause, DIFA aims to build the strongest online community of trade professionals excited about the future and ready to overcome a changing marketplace.
Is there a fee for consumers to use the site?
No, all features of the site are entirely free to consumers.
Is there a fee for designers?
We invite professional designers to join our community and be listed in the directory. For an annual fee of $360, designers get featured in editorial content and provided access to the NYSID powered educational portal. Depending on desired exposure, designers and vendors can pay different amounts for different levels. Registration fees are renewed annually.
Is there an application process for designers?
Yes, designers will be required to publish and maintain an active portfolio of projects and be approved by a selection committee.
What exposure do designers and vendors get?
In addition of being featured on the site, designers and vendors will also be promoted through digital campaigns, email marketing efforts and more, resulting in exposure to a targeted demographic. We are still in our infancy so join us now!
